A great team - One Native Slovenian and one native Englishman

Using the combined skills of native speakers of both Slovenian and English, we are in the ideal position to provide you with a quality translation between English and Slovenian. Not only will your translation be of top quality, but it will also be proofread, edited and checked for clarity and brevity, and the final result will be native quality English, or Slovenian.

What sounds great in Slovene, may not have the same impact when translated into English. We can consult with you to make sure your translation works just as well in English, as it does in Slovene.

Remember, the quality of your work is a reflection of your company and badly written texts and bad translations can:

  • Confuse your customer
  • Cause misunderstanding
  • Damage your company’s image
  • Drive visitors away from your website or literature
  • Convey lack of attention to detail

Accurate, clear and concise communication can:

  • Impress your customer
  • Make sales
  • Help you stand out from the competition
  • Produce higher search-engine rankings for websites
  • Convey care and attention to detail

Price:

  • UK£15 per page (1500 characters)
  • Euro €16 per page (1500 characters)
  • Discounts may be available for large amounts of text (20 pages or more)

About us:

Ian Middleton was born and raised in the small town of Andover, Hampshire in the south of England. After ten years working as an electronics technician Ian decided to quit his job and go travelling around the world. His travels inspired a new way of life, and a new profession. He began to write books and articles about his travels, as well as taking better photographs. During his travels in Spain he met his wife, a native of Slovenia. He has spent a lot of time in Slovenia where he has worked for Berlitz as an English language instructor. With years of experience writing, editing, proofreading and publishing his own books and articles, Ian has developed a wide variety of skills which enable him to be the perfect person to check all translations for typing and punctuation errors, clarity and concision, and help craft any document into native speaker quality English.

Nika Middleton was born and raised in Ljubljana. She obtained her Bachelor Degree in Geography from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Ljubljana in 2007. Since 2001 she has been speaking English with her husband, Ian Middleton, on a daily basis and therefore has added English alongside Slovenian to her list of fluently spoken languages. Having worked, among others, in ARSO, the Environmental Agency of the Republic of Slovenia, and Humanitas, the Human Rights Society, where she constantly translated texts from Slovenian to English and English to Slovenian, and also checked the English and Slovenian for quality, she has acquired the skills necessary to provide quality translations between both languages.
